Rig Manager

- He is responsible for keeping the Rig Superintendent informed of critical operations and potential problems as well as day to day operations
- He oversees the safe, efficient and profitable operations of the drilling package
Driller – Assistant Driller
- A Driller has an integral role to ensure that the drill rigs, machinery, equipment and other resources are effectively operated to optimise the profitability of the company's site operations
Chief Mechanic – Rig Mechanic
- Repairs, installs, adjusts, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery or refinery and pipeline distribution systems
- Observes and tests the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices
- Demonstrates equipment functions and features to machine operators
Chief Electrician – Rig Electrician
- Provides for routine and non-routine maintenance of electrical and electronic equipments of the rig: perform maintenance of the remote control switches of the control board, by performing disassembly, control, cleaning and lubrication of the components and the regulation of the pressure on the contacts: controls air conditioning and refrigeration systems, controls and replace or adjusts the contacts of thermal expansion valves or of relays or switches
- Keeps the stocks of spare parts and expendable materials, checking the level of the stocks and reporting the needs for re-supply considering also the forecasted
- Provides the Tool Pusher with the results of the use of particular materials or spares and consults the schemes and sketches related to circuits, to electrical equipment and to electrical devices and their control boards and switchboards
